Apple cider vinegar is made by fermenting apple cider, or the unfiltered juice from pressed apples. And has been discovered over the years to be one of the great home remedies acne is eliminated by quickly.
Like other vinegar's, it is known for its ability to fight many types of bacteria and viruses.
Apple cider vinegar contains several organic acids that have been shown to kill P. acne's. In particular, succinic acid has been shown to suppress inflammation caused by P. acne's, which may prevent scarring.
Also, lactic acid has been shown to improve the appearance of acne scars . What's more, apple cider vinegar may help dry up the excess oil that causes acne in the first place.
How to Use It
Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar and 3 parts water (use more water for sensitive skin). After cleansing, gently apply the mixture to the skin using a cotton ball. Let sit for 5–20 seconds, rinse with water and pat dry.
Repeat this process 1–2 times per day, as needed.
It is important to note that applying apple cider vinegar to your skin can cause burns and irritation, so it should always be used in small amounts and diluted with water.

Herbal Remedies
Acne isn't a new affliction for those of us who live in the 21st century. Acne has been around for a few thousand years. Acne was a problem long before there was any such thing as a dermatologist or a corner drug store with several shelves devoted to acne-treating products.
I'd venture to say that some teenage cave-dwelling boy or girl probably had the first zit in the history of mankind. Since the problem has been around for such a very long time, you just know that there are home and herbal remedies to treat acne. Surprisingly, some of these herbal and home remedy acne treatments are very effective and some of them are what those over-the-counter drug medications are based on.
Many of the herbal remedies are based on blood cleansing and/or bowel cleansing. One of the oldest and probably most effective of all of the herbal acne remedies consists of equal portions of extracts from sarsaparilla, yellow dock, burdock, and cleavers. A half teaspoon of the mixture taken by mouth each day is said to clear acne. The idea is to rid the body of the toxins that cause acne.
When the leaves of the melaleuca alternifolia tree, which is found in Australia, are boiled, the result is what is called tea tree oil. Tea tree oil can be purchased already prepared at most health food stores and online. Undiluted tea tree oil will cause skin irritation, so tea tree oil is diluted at about 5% tea tree oil to 95% water. This diluted tea tree solution is supposed to be applied to the acne twice a day and allowed to sit for about 15 minutes before it is washed off with warm water.
It's not really a treatment, but it is said that avoiding cow's milk will help to reduce acne outbreaks as well.
